As one of our Principal Architects,  Jonathan Mau manages the delivery of projects of a high quality and technical standard using cutting edge technology along with careful consideration and planning, to protect the welfare of all participants in the procurement process. He has worked extensively with Information Technology and Building Information Modelling (BIM) in the Building Industry, bringing new technologies to complex projects with constructive benefits for project delivery and design.

Jonathan draws on a wide range of experience across multiple industries, including Health, Education, and Seniors Living.

In the Education sector, he has designed projects across a variety of sites, many of which include next generation learning spaces with detailed examination of the learning needs and strategies that drive learning outcomes. He is experienced in delivering projects across primary, secondary and tertiary education.

Jonathan has a broad range of experience in the health sector, more recently taking a lead role in a $35M redevelopment project at Alice Springs Hospital and $35M at The Memorial Hospital where he coordinated the delivery of consultancy services in a dynamic and complex procurement environment.

Projects

The Memorial Hospital Redevelopment Project, SA

The project includes the Refurbishment of existing Hospital Site Infrastructure, Wards, Operating Theatres, Kitchen, Stores, CSSD, Staff Amenities and provision of a Paediatric Day Unit and Consultation Suite. This projects involved the resolution of complex staging.
2017 to present.

Alice Springs Hospital, NT

General Fire Upgrade to the Main Ward Building of Alice Springs Hospital, including relocation and reconstruction of hospital wards to enable continued full operation and occupation of the Hospital.

Kings Baptist, Mt Barker

Hodgkison was engaged to develop a Master Plan for the new school and early learning centre. Since then we have seen these plans transform an empty field into the first stage of a contemporary school, currently teaching reception to year 2 as well as 3 to 5-year-olds in preschool.
