University of Adelaide – Quantum Materials Lab

Hodgkison provided interior design support to the stage one development of the University of Adelaide’s Quantum Materials and Optics Laboratory. This design focused on creating a stable environment for research with control over potential environmental influencing factors such as isolation from dust and uncontrolled light, stable temperature and humidity control, vibration suppression, along with a functionally designed workspace fundamental to the success of the Quantum Materials research.
This facility acts as a hub for quantum materials research, while also supporting education and student research.
The logistics of this project were planned to ensure that the continuity of these research projects were not disrupted. The first stage of this project was completed in July 2022.
