With a brief for a warm, calm and welcoming interior scheme, the fitout for the Uniting Church of Australia Head Office delivered a sophisticated and restrained design.
The front of house areas are brought alive with the warmth of the panelled timber veneer, textured carpet and woven wall cladding. A subtle but fresh tonal colour palette carries from the reception area throughout the building bringing the building together in one coherent scheme. The staff breakout areas are brightened with playful use of colours, textures and contemporary furnishings.
Undertaking the refurbishment works including full ceiling and floor covering replacement, in a busy corporate office at full occupancy brought unique challenges. Detailed staging, intricate coordination of staff relocations and carefully planned strategies for continuity of services were required to ensure disruption to staff was kept to an absolute minimum.
Delivered on a modest budget, the Uniting Church Head Office fitout provides a mature, elegant and balanced interior design scheme that the Uniting Church are proud of.
